Before you go

Confirm event start time, check-in time and venue details.Review event rules and equipment requirements.Pack registration or membership details if required.Check vaccination or venue documentation requirements.Check weather and plan shade or wet-weather protection.

Dog & handling gear

Secure collar.Reliable lead.Spare lead.Harness if used between runs.Waste bags.High-value rewards.

Rest & comfort

Crate, mat, bed or raised camp cot.Shade, gazebo or shelter.Dog towel plus a spare for water sports.Cooling or warm layer depending on weather.Familiar blanket or settling item.

Food & hydration

Plenty of fresh drinking water.Portable water bowl.Dog's normal food if the event overlaps meal time.Treats or training rewards.Small amount of extra water and food for delays.

Sport-specific gear

Competition toy, bumper or tug used by your dog.Backup toy if practical.Waterproof bag for wet gear.Life jacket only if useful outside official runs or for your dog's needs.Any sport-specific equipment required by the event.

Handler & event extras

Phone and charger or power bank.Chair.Water and snacks for the handler.Sunscreen, hat or rain gear.Basic first-aid kit.Event schedule or run order.
